LanDrop Terms of Use

1. Using LanDrop

You may use LanDrop for lawful file transfers on devices and networks you are authorized to access. Any software licence supplied with your copy of the app and the rules of the store through which you obtain it also apply. These terms do not override mandatory rights provided by applicable law.

2. Your files and recipients

You retain your rights in your files. Sending a file through LanDrop does not give the developer ownership of it. Only share content you have permission to share, and obtain any consent required for other people’s personal information.

Confirm the recipient before sending. A recipient can save or redistribute a file, and LanDrop cannot revoke copies after delivery. Do not use the app to distribute malware, infringe others’ rights, send unlawful material, or access devices without permission.

3. Receiving and network settings

You control incoming transfer approvals, save folders, pairing codes, and trusted-device or Quick Save settings. Enabling an automatic receiving mode may allow files to be saved according to those settings. Review trusted devices and inspect received files before opening them.

Use standard LAN transfers on trusted private networks. Pairing and approval controls do not provide transport encryption for standard LAN connections. Optional secure remote sharing is experimental; enable it only on devices and networks you control or are permitted to use. Any external VPN or overlay provider is responsible for its own service.

4. Transfers and availability

Transfers depend on device storage, permissions, connectivity, and operating-system behavior. They may be interrupted, incomplete, or unavailable. Keep backups of important files and verify a received copy before deleting the original.

Features and compatibility may change between versions. Planned releases, store listings, or download links shown on the website are not promises of a particular release date.

5. Privacy

LanDrop does not require an account, and app transfers are not uploaded to the developer. Files, local records, permissions, optional remote connections, and support messages are described in the LanDrop Privacy Policy.

6. Warranty and responsibility

To the extent permitted by applicable law, LanDrop is provided as available, without a guarantee of uninterrupted operation, suitability for a particular purpose, or error-free transfers. The developer is not responsible for losses caused by unauthorized sharing, an untrusted recipient, misuse, or a failure to keep backups, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights, warranties, remedies, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

7. Updates and contact

Revised terms will be published here with an updated date. If you do not agree to revised terms, you can stop using the app.
